Orbit propagation
SGP4 output against the verification vectors published with the reference implementation (Vallado et al., 2006), plus the Earth rotation angle.
Pass prediction
Internal consistency of the pass finder on a fixed test orbit, so the result is the same every time. Compare live passes with Heavens-Above below.
Link budget
Each formula against a value worked out by hand.
Doppler
The shift formula against hand calculations and the analytic range rate against a numerical derivative.
Bit error rate
Monte Carlo simulation against the theoretical curves, both in signal space and with the sampled passband waveform.
